One element will be to build on what has worked for CAMPING IN British Columbia. This includes the availability of fairly instant results to information sought and the feeling of being part of a community that shares a common passion and lifestyle.

To that end, there will be a live discussion thread, similar to our group, and we’re working on integrating this thread from the group to the website.

The Big Picture:

Future plans for www.campingin.ca include expanding to cover all provinces and eventually other countries and their regions. When you visit the page, you will be able to choose your province and then your region(s) of choice. The main discussion thread will be filtered to show only relevant information for your selected region.

Our directory will be interactive and packed with valuable information. In our first year, the focus will be on our amazing private campgrounds around the province. I will travel across the province this season to visit and catalogue each campground. This will include high-quality professional video walk-throughs, drone footage where allowed, and professional photography of each lot.

We will address one of the most common questions in the group: having pictures of specific lots to help visualize setups for tents or RVs. Interviews with owners/managers and current campers will also be included to gather feedback on their experiences, all accessible with a click of a link. Once the format is established, we will hire photographers and videographers to assist in building the directory.

We plan to expand to cover all Canadian provinces and eventually other countries. Our directory will initially focus on private campgrounds across the province, featuring high-quality media and detailed information.
